Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Bethlehem, Police Say

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Bethlehem Tuesday night, authorities said.

Lisa Byrd, 48, was rushed to an area hospital after the incident in the 1400 block of Stefko Boulevard around 8:30 p.m., according to the Bethlehem Police Department and LehighValleyLive.

She was pronounced dead at an area hospital, police said.

The driver was cooperating with police, the news outlet says.

The investigation is still ongoing.
